York > Bed & Breakfast (B&B) > Kexby House

Kexby House is an 18th century Grade 2 Listed Georgian Farm House which is situated only a few miles from the historic city of York. We have around 13 acres of land including 400 yards of private fishing on the River Derwent. From the moment you enter through the wrought iron gates, you will realise that this is not an ordinary B+B. This view is quickly reinforced as you enter the marble floored entrance hall with its eight branched chandelier, ornately detailed cornice, framed pictures and alabaster classical statues. The main house has three tastefully decorated bedrooms, one of which has a four poster bed. The Blue and Green Rooms have their own private bathrooms with cast iron roll top baths, whilst our newest addition, the Pink Room, has an en-suite with shower. The Cottage caters for those who might wish for a more private, but none the less exclusive and refined stay. With the ability to house four guests in two separate rooms, family or friends could enjoy the large living room with its comfy seating and private patio. Our free range chickens provide the eggs for our locally sourced breakfasts which are served in the sumptuous Dining room.Only children over 12 years old are welcome. No pets allowed on premises or grounds. We are proud of our 5 Star status and will endeavour to make your stay with us as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.
